The client’s older telehealth platform relied on a single large P2P signaling server that crashed during peak hours (8 AM - 10 AM EST). With a 2M+ patient base, even a 1% failure rate caused thousands of missed clinical appointments and severe provider frustration.

The biggest issues were session jitter, provider churn, and compliance gaps. The team needed a faster, clearer way to manage the work while keeping the right checks in place.
