The challenge

What was getting
in the way

A business can collect good reviews on Google or Trustpilot and still show none of them on its own website. Visitors who want proof have to leave the page, and a review site may list competitors alongside.

Doing it by hand is awkward too. Copied reviews go stale, screenshots look out of place, and many owners do not write code or know where a script should go.

  • Visitors leave to check

With no reviews on the page, people go elsewhere for reassurance and may not come back.

  • Reviews spread across sites

Feedback on Google, Facebook and Trustpilot is hard to present as one picture of a business.

  • Few reviews to show

A newer business may have little written feedback, even when its finished work is good.

The solution

What
we built

  1. 01

    Review import from a link

An owner pastes the link to their Google, Facebook or Trustpilot page and BlooTrue pulls the reviews in. Paid plans sync new reviews every day.

  2. 02

    Live style editor

Owners pick a slider, marquee, grid, list, masonry or badge layout, then adjust themes, colours and star animations to suit their brand.

    One-line embed

A single line of code puts the widget on the site. Builder-specific install guides cover platforms such as WordPress, Shopify and Wix.

Before and after

How the work
changed

Showing reviews

Before

Copied or screenshotted

Without a tool like this, owners tend to paste reviews in by hand and rarely update them.

After

Pulled from the source

Reviews come in from the connected platform, and paid plans refresh them daily or on demand with a sync button.

Several platforms

Before

One site at a time

Each review site normally has to be shown or linked to separately.

After

All-in-one widget

Paid plans blend connected platforms into one widget, with each review badged by its source.

Search visibility

Before

Reviews stored elsewhere

Feedback held only on third-party sites adds little that search engines can read on the business's own page.

After

Readable review data

Paid plans add schema.org markup to the page, and a public review page on blootrue.com holds reviews as text.

Built on tested foundations

Each widget on a customer's site depends on these parts working together.

  • Platform connectors

Bring reviews in from Google, Facebook, Trustpilot, Yelp, TripAdvisor, G2 and other supported sources.

  • Widget renderer

Draws each layout on the customer's site and translates it to match the visitor's language.

  • Embed script

The single line of code that works across website builders, with a domain allowlist on paid plans.

  • Plans and limits

Sets what each tier gets, from one widget on the free plan to several locations on Pro and Business.
